Liz has a BSc in Physiology with Biochemistry from the University of Southampton, and an MSc in IP Law from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London. She qualified as a trade mark attorney in the UK in 2000, and in Ireland in 2006.

Liz has worked in the UK, Ireland and New Zealand, in both in-house and private practice environments, advising clients of all sizes from corporate multinationals to small start-ups, in a range of industries including retail, pharmaceutical, technology, financial services and leisure.

She has extensive experience in all aspects of trade marks, from providing initial filing, brand management and strategic advice, through to contentious work such as filing, defending and settling oppositions and cancellations.
